GSC celebrated WORLD HEART’s DAY on 28th September, 2008. It was organized by National Society in Association with Malad Medical Association and Indian Medical Association. The main aim was to spread the message “Walk together to keep the heart Beating”. A unique exhibition was also arranged at the club premises to create awareness, do,s and don’t’s and the precautions to be taken to prevent diseases like blood pressure, diabetes, kidney diseases, heart attacks etc.
Our chief guest was renowned actor, Irfan Khan and our guest of honour was DR KAUSHAL PANDEY- Senior Cardiovascular Surgeon of Hinduja Hospital and Wockhard’s Hospital.
This programme was open to all .
There was a Health check up.
More than 3000 people consisting of school children, members and staff participated in this event. Complimentary T-shirts and caps were distributed among all . The program concluded with snacks and beverages. |
